CCS at symposium in Algeria

CCS was asked to hold a presentation in Algiers, Algeria. This question came from the Dutch embassy which organized a symposium on the processing of organic waste. It is now being collected and deposited at open landfills. This result in stench and the emision of greenhouse gases such as methane. CCS’ own Ruurd van Schaik explained how solid and fluid organic waste can best be treated. At this symposium the Dutch ambassador, mr. Robert van Embden and the Algerian minister of environment mrs. Fatma Zohra Zerouati were present. CCS was asked to make a proposal for a further development of this project.
