ICaRE4Farms project to the next phase

ICaRE4Farms project to the next phase

The Monitoring Committee of Interreg, a European transnational subsidy program, approved 23 submitted project proposals in their meeting in Luxembourg on 6-7 February 2019. These projects have passed the first stage of applying for the subsidy.

The ICaRE4Farms consortium, of which CCS is a proud member, is one of 23 successful submitters. The projects are divided into three priorities. The first priority comprises of innovation projects, the second priority comprises of low CO2 emission projects and the third priority comprises of raw material efficiency projects.

The project of ICaRE4Farms focuses on meeting the heat demand of farms in North-Western Europe, especially ranch farms, by using thermal efficiënt solar collectors.Due to this the project, together with three other projects, falls under the second priority: low CO2 emission projects.

The ICaRE4Farms consortium, together with the other 22 applicants whose project proposals have been approved, is invited to participate in a workshop in Lille on the 28th of February 2018. The projects are now in the second phase of project development and the complete application form needs to be further explained in order to submit the project on the 31st of May 2019.

After this date, the committee will announce the actual allotment. We are happy to keep you informed on further progress in this project, so keep an eye on our social media and website!
