Tomorrow is Earth Hour

Tomorrow is Earth Hour

Tomorrow, Saturday the 28th of March, at 20:30 is Earth Hour. The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Requests that people turn off their lights for one hour in order to think about our planet.  The day gets a more special vibe then usual due to the fact that we are in the middle of the corona crisis. Since a lot of people work at home, companies are closed and events are cancelled.

Dispite corona, the WWF still believes that it is important to think about our energy usage and our climate. The sunny and windy weather though, plus the biogas installations have given us  a first time ever milestone. Last Monday there was enough renewable energy production to match 100% of the energy required. In fact, there was enough produced to match 105%. Thankfully some positive news!
